Hey everybody, here we are with the honorable Judge Chuck Weller (tough on crime I hear & pro father's rights...my kinda guy) for Jordan's official adoption into the Lear clan. Way to go kid! It was short & sweet, rather unemotional (well, it was 8:15 in the morning after a long weekend and we've been waiting for about a year, so it was a little melodramatic) but a relief to all parties involved. Thankfully, Jordan still considers himself an Indian, so we won't need to have the big conversation yet. But when we do, I believe that honesty is always the best policy-I always want to be the "good guy" when it comes this stuff....On the Indian note, a while back Jordan comes home from school and says "I"m an Indian dad," to which I responded "really....what kind of Indian?" After comparing himself to his fellow student's who are native children of the country of India, he says "a different kind." I said "you sure are kid." :)

Congratulations to all!!
i still think "a different indian" is almost as good as "searching for jorge" when it comes to band names
lovin it, that is so great!!!
so very awesome- bennett clan
i personally still prefere "searching for jorge" though "a different indian" has a strange catch as well as personal emtion appeal to it.
