Finding a HOME...

We've decided a few things: The CD will most assuredly be called HOME. We've got a potential front cover picked out, and are working on the art work for the inside of the CD jacket. Final mixes are almost done on the songs, and it's a matter of where to have our CD release party. Ideas anyone? We need a place with a great sound system, lots of room, and open to all ages. Hillside's the obvious choice unless something else comes up. Dont' get me wrong, it's our HOME church anyhow:) Speaking of, I'm reminded of why I like going to church there: I mean, where else can you show up on a Sunday morning and:

1. Dress as yourself (& feel comfortable)
2. Get a free Krispy Kream donut (heck yeah!)
3. With good coffee...
4. Enjoy a variety of worshipful music styles
5. Hear a message that's relevant & powerful
6. Connect with God and people in a real way
7. Find answers for the questions of life
All are welcome. 8:30 & 10:30 am on Sundays.

It's about stinkin' time...

All right, I've been living la vida loca since school started last fall, and there is light at the end of the tunnel. As a band, Red-X has been doing the same-we started our latest recording project, first with drummer James Roberts, who's been a crucial part of our development as a band since he joined us last summer, which came as a major blessing from the Lord in the usual way (unexpectedly & when we were most in need). Long story short, we've been rockin' since then, played JoshuaFest, some great gigs at Hillside with the new sound system, and hit the recording hard around the Holidays. Mixing takes forever, but well worth the time spent, and now we're working on cover shot, graphics, final mixes & mastering, and the CD should be out SOON! I'll give you the low-down-8 sweet tracks, our favorite is called HOME, which will also be the album title. We'll be planning a CD release party, website update, and some other little surprises to boot!
