I just can't resist posting this photo with the news that Red-X is hanging up the gloves for awhile.....at least until October, maybe for good......God's will be done in it all. A special heartfelt thanks to George Miller for all of his time & effort as our lead guitar & graphics man, he did an awesome job & his passion was second to none! "Infectious" is a word I've heard used to describe him, and it fits to a T. God Bless the Millers (George, Melissa, & Alexa) as they make the huge move to Orlando, Florida. James Roberts, Dave Leishman, & myself are taking a well-deserved break after our funky trip to LA & the unfortunate cancellation of our July 14th Farmer's Market gig in Sparks....something about a 6x10 stage, public service announcements between every song, and making sure we'd play really quiet......they obviously have never met George & his Randall half-stack:) I know James is happy to take a break, and our prayers go out for him and his family, as well as for Dave, Sue, & Kate. As for me, well, I've got a 1970 house to finish painting, a yard to mow, a worship department to run, Kids Camp, and most of all, a one-time-rock-boy-band to put together so we can "rock Frankfurt" Germany in August. We'll be doing songs by some of my favorites, including Lifehouse, Delirious, Third Day, and of course, Red-X. After four years of rockin' with the boys of Red-X, including Peter Johnson as the original drummer, I've learned one thing: It's a long road to the top when you wanna rock'n'roll. Or something like that. I think Third Day summed it up best in their song "Rockstar:" I wanna be a rock star
But, I aint got what it takes
The drive and the determination
And the lucky breaks
I wanna be a rock star
But, I aint got the face
I wanna be a rock star
But, I aint got what it takes Sincerely, Earl W. Nash

Wow, a lot of posts have gone up since I last visited! I am sorry to see Red-X go on hiatus, but at least I have the CD! I had a great time with you guys, and you have helped convince my little guy that it's cool to rock for Jesus (and along with Jordan, they might be the next generation of the ROCK!!).
PS - I never knew you guys looked so good in white pants.
your worth is determined not merely by the outward trappings of success (fame, fortune, millions of cd's sold) but by the investment of yourself in the lives of others. you are a good man mr. earl, & God has greatly blessed you w/a great wife & son, as well as His perspective. love ya buddy
My 3 ladies have been listening to your cd non-stop. You have a HUGE heart, bro. Who knows what God wants to do w/ the band. Once a rocker- always a rocker.
P.S. In the future- the band members may want to consider gettin' some muscles if they want to wear muscle shirts. :>(
does this mean we can go to walden's & spoof the bald pagan dude who runs the mic?
does this mean i have to get a new license plate???
You guys do have fans...!
